CONCENTRATION:  Exit Outcomes for Kindergarten Physical Education

1. SIMPLE GAMES (low organizational games) Sept/Oct. outside

COURSE  OUTCOMES
 The learner will:
  1.  Develop body awareness and body movement.
  2.  Understand awareness concepts within a given play area.
  3.  Develop an understanding of safe play in a group setting.
  4.  Observe a follow rules of game being played.

 The student will:
  1.  Appreciate bowling as a fun and exciting activity (year-round).

  4.  Have some understanding of general scoring sequence.

UNIT 4
UNIT  OUTCOME:  BOWLING  SKILLS
  1.  The students will develop the following skills:
   a.  gripping the ball
   b.  approach/steps
   c.  motion and release of ball
   d.  follow through

 (6) sets of ten/candlepins
 small candlepin rubber bowling balls/basketballs

UNIT 5
COURSE  OUTCOMES:  HULA  HOOPS AND  JUMP  ROPES
 The learner will:
  1.  Develop proper eye, hand and foot coordination.
  2.  Understand general spatial and body awareness concepts related to use of
        physical education equipment. (hoops/ropes)
  3.  Have more of an appreciation for rhythm and sequence.
