*Programs now begin at 8:00 A.M. through dismissal.*

Here, in Danvers, we have a very unique classroom called The Dunn Planetarium. It is designed as a theater - in - the - round to simulate the earth and the sky as a great dome surrounding us. The children are taken away from their regular surroundings as the door closes and the lights are extinguished, and are transported to another place, time, or world, depending on the limits of  their  very  fertile imaginations.  As the sky rotates, the children feel transported to new and wonderful destinations here and beyond.
There are programs that have been designed to meet the needs of all grade and age levels, and above, but these programs can be adapted to fit into a teacher's lesson(s).  Please check out the list of programs on the web site.   Scout groups and other groups (adults too) may call also.
Programs may be scheduled any weekday beginning at 8:00 A.M., on the hour or half-hour all day, or in the evening.  Programs will run 60 minutes @$2.50; 90 minutes @ $3.50; or 120 minutes @ $5.00 each.  Regular public shows take place every Friday at 7:00 P.M.  Directions can be given at the time of scheduling.  Please call (978) 774-1801 for further information.
