As principal of the Dunn Middle School, Assistant Superintendent, and Superintendent, Dr. Betty Allen dedicated her career to the growth and education of countless Danvers students.  Her dream was to build a vibrant, modern library filled with books and technology, where students could expand their minds through exploration of their world.

Through generous donations to the Dr. Betty G. Allen Library Fund, we have made much progress in building our collection, but we are still working to reach our goal of 15,000 volumes.  To help reach this goal and realize Dr. Allen’s dream, we enter our fifth year of…

Betty's Dream Teams

The Dream Team Program. We would like to thank all who have donated books and funds to the Betty G. Allen Library in previous years. With your generous support, our collection continues to grow and encompass curriculum-related materials as well as reading for pleasure. To learn about our Dream Team themes and other library activities, please send us an email at hrmslibrary@danvers.org. In the message, just let us know that you would like to be added to our e-mail list to receive our monthly updates and lists of titles to donate. We hope you’ll be inspired to donate funds for a book related to a particular theme.  To make your donation even more special, you may also choose to commemorate a special event (such as a child’s birthday) or honor someone special (perhaps a teacher, coach, friend, or family member).
