Abridge – To cut short; curtail.

Press – a. The collecting and publishing or broadcasting of news; journalism in general.
b. The entirety of media and agencies that collect, publish, transmit, or broadcast the news.

Petition – a. To bring an appeal or request, for example, to the attention of: address, appeal, apply, approach.
b. To make application to a higher authority, as to a court of law

Redress – To set right; remedy or rectify.

Grievances – a. An actual or supposed circumstance regarded as just cause for complaint.
b. A complaint or protestation based on such a circumstance.
